Our Rabbi: Rabbi Ezra (Ezzie) Ende

Rabbi Ende, the founding rabbi of Kehilat HaDror, was ordained a rabbi at the Reform Movement's Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion's in Jerusalem in 2006. After his ordination Rabbi Ende served Temple Sinai, in Pittsburgh PA (USA) for four years. In 2010 Rabbi Ende returned to Jerusalem where he was an associate rabbi at Kehilat Kol Haneshama while working to establish Kehilat HaDror. In addition to his congregational work Rabbi Ende is the school rabbi at Tali Bayit V'Gan elementary school and at the Tali Beit Hinuch High School, both of which are affiliated with the Israel Reform Movement.

Rabbi Ende is also a trained pastoral counselor and has an MA in Jewish Education from the Schechter Institute in Jerusalem. Rabbi Ende is a spiritual counselor and Jewish educator for all. He leads our congregational Bar/Bat Mitzvah program and teaches in a variety of adult and community education programs. He is available for the community's life cycle needs from the Joys of weddings, baby naming and brit milah ceremonies to performing funerals and shiva needs in a caring and open way.

He lives in Jerusalem's Katamon neighborhood with his wife Avigail and their five children. Ezzie is an avid runner and a trained Jewish dancer (which he includes in our Kabalat Shabat services).
